January 31, 2023: East Brunswick, NJ 08816 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the East Brunswick Bears (East Brunswick, NJ) and the visiting Eastern Vikings (Voorhees, NJ), saw East Brunswick's basketball squad hold off Eastern by a tally of 64-63.
With the victory, East Brunswick improves its record to 13-19 on the campaign. The Bears travel to South Brunswick (Monmouth Junction, NJ) to confront the Vikings in a Greater Middlesex - Red challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 10-4. South Brunswick won 84-47 in their recent league challenge against Perth Amboy (Perth Amboy, NJ)
Next up, the Vikings confront the Lenape Indians (Medford, NJ) in a Freelance challenge, on Thursday, February 2. Eastern will attempt to improve on its 12-8 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 14-3 record after their 42-39 league win over Cherry Hill East (Cherry Hill, NJ).
