The Esko Eskomos basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting Hermantown Hawks to 67 in the Eskomos non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Eskomos now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Superior for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 2. Esko will battle a Spartans team coming off a 58-26 non-league loss to Duluth East (Duluth, MN). The Spartans record now stands at 12-6.

The Hawks (11-5) will now prepare for their contest against North Branch (North Branch, MN). The Vikings come into the AAA Section 7 contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, North Branch edged St. Francis (St. Francis, MN), 63-58, in a non-league contest.
