Ohio High School Basketball - Galion knocked off by Lexington
January 31, 2023: Galion, OH 44833 The Lexington Minutemen basketball team scored 94 points and held the host Galion Tigers to 79 in the Minutemen non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Minutemen now sport a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mount Vernon for a non-league contest on Friday, February 3. Lexington will battle a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 59-47 non-league loss to Madison Comprehensive (Mansfield, OH). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 3-8.
The Tigers (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Ontario (Mansfield, OH). The Warriors enter the Mid-Ohio - Red contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, Ontario ran past Crestview (Ashland, OH), 65-62, in a non-league contest.
