New York High School Basketball - Susquehanna Valley trounces Harpursville
January 31, 2023: Harpursville, NY 13787 The Susquehanna Valley Sabers (Conklin, NY) basketball crushed the host Harpursville Hornets (Harpursville, NY), 74-41 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Sabers (4-9) will now prepare for their test against Windsor Central (Windsor, NY). The Black Knights go into the Section 4 Southern Tier - East test with a 1-10 record. In their last test, Windsor Central was trounced by Oneonta (Oneonta, NY), 62-36, in a league test.
The Hornets now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to Oxford Academy for a Section 4 Midstate test on Thursday, February 2. Harpursville will encounter a Blackhawks squad coming off a 60-43 league loss to Walton (Walton, NY). The Blackhawks record now stands at 2-12.
