Washington High School Basketball - Hazen tops Jefferson
January 31, 2023: Renton, WA 98059 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Hazen Highlanders (Renton, WA) and the visiting Jefferson Raiders (Auburn, WA), saw Hazen's basketball squad knock off Jefferson by a tally of 64-53.
With the victory, Hazen improves its record to 1-14 on the campaign. The Highlanders host Renton (Renton, WA) to play the Red Hawks in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 3. The Red Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 18-1. Renton won 85-33 in their recent league challenge against Lindbergh (Renton, WA)
Next up, the Raiders play the Kentlake Falcons (Kent, WA) in a 3A/4A North Puget Sound challenge, on Thursday, February 2. Jefferson will attempt to improve on its 3-15 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 4-15 record after their 94-74 league loss to Beamer (Federal Way, WA).
