New Hampshire High School Basketball - Kearsarge succumbs to Winnisquam
January 31, 2023: North Sutton, NH 03260 The Winnisquam Bears topped the host Kearsarge Cougars basketball team by a final score of 74-55 in Tuesday's league game.
In their next game, the Bears face the Stevens Cardinals (Claremont, NH) in a Division III game, on Friday, February 3. Winnisquam will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Cardinals enter the game with a 9-3 record after their 62-53 league win over Monadnock (East Swanzey, NH).
With the defeat, Kearsarge moves to 2-7 on the year. The Cougars host Gilford (Gilford, NH) to face the Golden Eagles in a Division III game on Thursday, February 2. The Golden Eagles enter the game with a record of 14-0. Gilford won 69-22 in their recent league game against Prospect Mountain (Alton, NH)
