Missouri High School Basketball - Lafayette crushes Savannah
January 31, 2023: Savannah, MO 64485 Lafayette Fighting Irish (St. Joseph, MO) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Savannah Savages (Savannah, MO), 73-41 in a league bout.
With the win, Lafayette upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Fighting Irish travel to Cameron (Cameron, MO) to play the Dragons in a Midland Empire bout on Friday, February 3. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 5-10. Cameron lost 70-42 in their recent league bout against Benton (St. Joseph, MO)
Next up, the Savages play the Bishop LeBlond Eagles (St. Joseph, MO) in a Midland Empire bout, on Friday, February 3. Savannah will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 14-6 record after their 62-52 non-league win over East Buchanan (Gower, MO).
