Iowa High School Basketball - Lincoln holds off Waterloo East
January 31, 2023: Des Moines, IA 50315 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lincoln Railsplitters (Des Moines, IA) and the visiting Waterloo East Trojans (Waterloo, IA), saw Lincoln's basketball squad hold off Waterloo East by a tally of 76-70.
With the victory, Lincoln improves its record to 7-9 on the campaign. The Railsplitters host Des Moines North (Des Moines, IA) to confront the Polar Bears in a Freelance challenge on Friday, February 3. The Polar Bears come into the challenge with a record of 1-10.
Next up, the Trojans confront the Ames Little Cyclones (Ames, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 3. Waterloo East will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record. The Little Cyclones come into the challenge with a 11-5 record after their 35-25 non-league win over Hoover (Des Moines, IA).
