January 31, 2023: Eagle River, WI 54521 The Wausau East Lumberjacks basketball team (Wausau, WI), was overwhelmed 80-39 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Northland Pines Eagles (Eagle River, WI)
The Eagles now possess a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mosinee for a Great Northern battle on Tuesday, February 7. Northland Pines will battle a Indians team coming off a 67-60 non-league win over D.C. Everest (Schofield, WI). The Indians record now stands at 14-4.
The Lumberjacks (7-11) will now prepare for their battle against Marshfield (Marshfield, WI). The Tigers come into the Wisconsin Valley battle with a 15-4 record. In their last battle, Marshfield trounced Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln (Wisconsin Rapids, WI), 58-47, in a league battle.
