West Virginia High School Basketball - Toronto crushes Oak Glen
January 31, 2023: New Cumberland, WV 26047 Toronto Red Knights (Toronto, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Oak Glen Golden Bears (New Cumberland, WV), 60-31 in a league bout.
With the win, Toronto upgrades its record to 11-7 on the season. The Red Knights host Indian Creek (Wintersville, OH) to play the Redskins in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Redskins go into the bout with a record of 9-9. Indian Creek lost 53-34 in their recent non-league bout against Weir (Weirton, WV)
Next up, the Golden Bears play the Beaver Beavers (Lisbon, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 3. Oak Glen will attempt to upgrade on its 1-16 season record. The Beavers go into the bout with a 8-10 record after their 66-56 non-league loss to Bellaire (Bellaire, OH).
