New Hampshire High School Basketball - Portsmouth holds off Windham
January 31, 2023: Portsmouth, NH 03801 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Portsmouth Clippers (Portsmouth, NH) and the visiting Windham Jaguars (Windham, NH), saw Portsmouth's basketball squad hold off Windham by a tally of 59-58.
With the victory, Portsmouth improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Clippers host Spaulding (Rochester, NH) to confront the Red Raiders in a Division I challenge on Friday, February 3. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 0-10. Spaulding lost 78-41 in their recent league challenge against Nashua North (Nashua, NH)
Next up, the Jaguars confront the Pinkerton Astros (Derry, NH) in a Division I challenge, on Friday, February 3. Windham will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Astros come into the challenge with a 15-0 record after their 73-38 league win over Manchester Central (Manchester, NH).
