Wisconsin High School Basketball - Altoona holds off Colfax
January 31, 2023: Altoona, WI 54720 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Altoona Railroaders (Altoona, WI) and the visiting Colfax Vikings (Colfax, WI), saw Altoona's basketball squad hold off Colfax by a tally of 59-52.
With the victory, Altoona improves its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Railroaders travel to Prescott (Prescott, WI) to confront the Cardinals in a Middle Border challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 13-4. Prescott lost 58-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Northwestern (Maple, WI)
Next up, the Vikings confront the Spring Valley Cardinals (Spring Valley, WI) in a Dunn-St. Croix challenge, on Thursday, February 2. Colfax will attempt to improve on its 13-3 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 4-11 record after their 43-40 non-league loss to Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran (Eau Claire, WI).
