January 31, 2023: Standish, ME 04084 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Marshwood Hawks (South Berwick, ME) basketball squad edged the host Bonny Eagle Scots (Standish, ME), by a count of 55-51.
The Hawks (10-3) will now prepare for their outing against Brunswick (Brunswick, ME). The Dragons go into the A South outing with a 13-2 record. In their last outing, Brunswick held off Gorham (Gorham, ME), 64-41, in a non-league outing.
The Scots now hold a 7-8 record. They play next when they host Sanford for a AA South outing on Friday, February 3. Bonny Eagle will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 39-31 league loss to Scarborough (Scarborough, ME). The Spartans record now stands at 9-5.
