Michigan High School Basketball - Lakewood nips Eaton Rapids
January 31, 2023: Lake Odessa, MI 48849 Lakewood Vikings (Lake Odessa, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Eaton Rapids Greyhounds (Eaton Rapids, MI), 38-32 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Lakewood upgrades its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Vikings host Stockbridge (Stockbridge, MI) to play the Panthers in a Greater Lansing bout on Thursday, February 2. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 11-4. Stockbridge won 52-41 in their recent non-league bout against Bath (Bath, MI)
Next up, the Greyhounds play the Ionia Bulldogs (Ionia, MI) in a Capital Area - White bout, on Friday, February 3. Eaton Rapids will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 61-28 non-league loss to Greenville (Greenville, MI).
