Michigan High School Basketball - Fremont succumbs to Grant
January 31, 2023: Grant, MI 49327 The Grant Tigers topped the visiting Fremont Packers basketball team by a final score of 62-52 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Tigers face the Tri County Area Vikings (Howard City, MI) in a Central State game, on Tuesday, February 7. Grant will attempt to move on its 10-6 season record. The Vikings enter the game with a 1-14 record after their 56-23 league loss to Reed City (Reed City, MI).
With the defeat, Fremont moves to 5-12 on the year. The Packers host Oakridge (Muskegon, MI) to face the Eagles in a Western Michigan game on Thursday, February 2. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 8-4.
