The McCook Central/Montrose Fighting Cougars basketball team (Salem, SD), was toppled 55-36 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Parkston Trojans (Parkston, SD)

The Trojans now possess a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gregory for a non-league battle on Friday, February 3. Parkston will confront a Gorillas team coming off a 57-52 non-league loss to Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (Mt. Vernon, SD). The Gorillas record now stands at 6-5.
