Virginia High School Basketball - Appomattox County edges Dan River
January 31, 2023: Appomattox, VA 24522 The Appomattox County Raiders (Appomattox, VA) basketball nipped the visiting Dan River Wildcats (Ringgold, VA), 35-32 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Raiders (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Nelson County (Lovingston, VA). The Governors go into the non-league test with a 6-6 record.
The Wildcats now own a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gretna for a non-league contest on Friday, February 3. Dan River will battle a Hawks team coming off a 50-43 non-league win over Chatham (Chatham, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 5-7.
