Virginia High School Basketball - Roanoke Catholic crushes Blue Ridge
January 31, 2023: Roanoke, VA 24016 Roanoke Catholic Celtics (Roanoke, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA), 60-28 in a league bout.
With the win, Roanoke Catholic upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Celtics host Eastern Mennonite (Harrisonburg, VA) to clash with the Flames in a bout on Thursday, February 2. The Flames go into the bout with a record of 0-10. Eastern Mennonite lost 39-28 in their recent league bout against Miller School of Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA)
Next up, the Barons clash with the Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks (Charlottesville, VA) in a bout, on Thursday, February 2. Blue Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Mavericks go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 39-28 league win over Eastern Mennonite (Harrisonburg, VA).
