Virginia High School Basketball - King's Fork can't hold off Grassfield
January 31, 2023: Suffolk, VA 23434 The Grassfield Grizzlies basketball team scored 64 points and held the host King's Fork Bulldogs to 63 in the Grizzlies non-league triumph on Tuesday.
In their next game, the Grizzlies meet the Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 3. Grassfield will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 1-11 record after their 62-32 non-league loss to Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA).
With the defeat, King's Fork moves to 3-4 on the year. The Bulldogs host Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA) to meet the Hornets in a non-league match on Friday, February 3. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 5-6.
