Missouri High School Basketball - Leeton can't hold off Bunceton
January 31, 2024: Bunceton, MO 65237 The Bunceton Dragons basketball team scored 79 points and restricted the visiting Leeton Bulldogs to 75 in the Dragons non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Dragons now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jamestown for a non-league contest on Friday, February 2. Bunceton will battle a team coming off a 76-59 non-league loss to Pilot Grove (Pilot Grove, MO). The record now stands at 1-15.
The Bulldogs (6-14) will now prepare for their contest against Butler (Butler, MO). The Bears come into the non-league contest with a 12-7 record. In their last contest, Butler edged Sherwood (Creighton, MO), 63-37, in a league contest.
