New York High School Basketball - Corinth trounces Doane Stuart
January 31, 2024: Corinth, NY 12822 The Corinth Riverhawks (Corinth, NY) basketball crushed the visiting Doane Stuart Thunder Chicken (Albany, NY), 71-46 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Riverhawks (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Whitehall (Whitehall, NY). The Railroaders go into the Section 2 Adirondack test with a 12-5 record. In their last test, Whitehall walloped Argyle (Argyle, NY), 67-53, in a league test.
The Thunder Chicken now own a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Berlin/New Lebanon for a non-league test on Monday, February 5. Doane Stuart will encounter a Mountain Lions squad coming off a 65-51 non-league loss to Hawthorne Valley (Ghent, NY). The Mountain Lions record now stands at 3-13.
