Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Gettysburg tops Northeastern
January 31, 2024: Gettysburg, PA 17325 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Gettysburg Warriors (Gettysburg, PA) and the visiting Northeastern Bobcats (Manchester, PA), witnessed Gettysburg's basketball squad topple Northeastern by a margin of 54-45.
The Warriors (14-5) will now prepare for their test against Northern York (Dillsburg, PA). The Polar Bears go into the non-league test with a 8-9 record. In their last test, Northern York notched a victory over Big Spring (Newville, PA), 50-48, in a league test.
The Bobcats now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they host Central York for a York-Adams 1 test on Friday, February 2. Northeastern will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 76-70 non-league win over Cumberland Valley (Mechanicsburg, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 17-2.
