Florida High School Basketball - Lecanto crushes River Ridge

Lecanto Panthers (Lecanto, FL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting River Ridge Royal Knights (New Port Richey, FL), 85-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lecanto upgrades its record to 19-5 on the season. The Panthers travel to West Port (Ocala, FL) to play the Wolf Pack in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Wolf Pack go into the bout with a record of 10-10. West Port lost 73-56 in their recent non-league bout against Vanguard (Ocala, FL)

Next up, the Royal Knights play the Cristo Rey Tampa Panthers (Tampa, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. River Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 4-15 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 8-8 record after their 48-35 non-league loss to New Jerusalem Christian Academy (Seffner, FL).
