January 31, 2024: Tolland, CT 06084 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the New Britain Golden Hurricanes (New Britain, CT) and the host Tolland Eagles (Tolland, CT), saw New Britain's basketball squad knock off Tolland by a tally of 51-38.
With the victory, New Britain improves its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Golden Hurricanes host Bloomfield (Bloomfield, CT) to play the Warhawks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Warhawks come into the challenge with a record of 6-6. Bloomfield won 66-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Weaver (Hartford, CT)
Next up, the Eagles play the South Windsor Bobcats (South Windsor, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 5. Tolland will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 65-59 non-league win over Windsor Locks (Windsor Locks, CT).
