West Virginia High School Basketball - Parkersburg Catholic fells Paden City
January 31, 2024: Paden City, WV 26159 Parkersburg Catholic Crusaders (Parkersburg, WV) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Paden City Wildcats (Paden City, WV), 68-49 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Parkersburg Catholic upgrades its record to 5-8 on the season. The Crusaders host Wirt County (Elizabeth, WV) to clash with the Tigers in a Little Kanawha - West bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 9-7. Wirt County lost 52-45 in their recent non-league bout against Roane County (Spencer, WV)
Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Frontier Cougars (New Matamoras, OH) in a Ohio Valley AA bout, on Wednesday, February 7. Paden City will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record.
