January 31, 2024: Bad Axe, MI 48413 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Bad Axe Hatchets (Bad Axe, MI) and the visiting Lakeville Falcons (Otisville, MI), saw Bad Axe's basketball squad overcome Lakeville by a tally of 45-31.
With the victory, Bad Axe improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Hatchets travel to Laker (Pigeon, MI) to confront the Lakers in a Greater Thumb - West challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Lakers come into the challenge with a record of 6-5. Laker won 37-25 in their recent league challenge against Reese (Reese, MI)
Next up, the Falcons confront the Durand Railroaders (Durand, MI) in a Mid-Michigan challenge, on Friday, February 2. Lakeville will attempt to improve on its 10-4 season record. The Railroaders come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 61-10 non-league win over International Academy (Flint, MI).
