Maryland High School Basketball - New Town trounces Chesapeake
January 31, 2024: Baltimore, MD 21221 The New Town (Owings Mills, MD) basketball crushed the host Chesapeake Bay Hawks (Baltimore, MD), 80-35 in Wednesday's league test.
The (13-3) will now prepare for their test against Perry Hall (Baltimore, MD). The Gators go into the Baltimore County 2 test with a 10-5 record. In their last test, Perry Hall walloped Patapsco (Baltimore, MD), 54-31, in a non-league test.
The Bay Hawks now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Dulaney for a Baltimore County 2 test on Monday, February 5. Chesapeake will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 63-26 league win over Sparrows Point (Baltimore, MD). The Lions record now stands at 11-3.
