January 31, 2024: Brooklandville, MD 21022 In Wednesday's league outing, the St. John's Catholic Prep Vikings (Buckeystown, MD) basketball squad beat the host St. Paul's Girls Gators (Brooklandville, MD), by a count of 66-53.
The Vikings (11-9) will now prepare for their outing against Gerstell Academy (Finksburg, MD). The go into the IAAM B outing with a 12-7 record. In their last outing, Gerstell Academy defeated Severn School (Severna Park, MD), 51-25, in a league outing.
The Gators now hold a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Concordia Prep for a IAAM B outing on Wednesday, February 7. St. Paul's Girls will clash with a Saints squad coming off a 62-41 non-league loss to Largo (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Saints record now stands at 4-16.
