Washington High School Basketball - Lake Washington thwarts Bishop Blanchet
January 31, 2024: Kirkland, WA 98033 The Lake Washington Kangaroos (Kirkland, WA) basketball knocked off the visiting Bishop Blanchet Bears (Seattle, WA), 66-52 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Kangaroos (13-5) will now prepare for their test against Mount Si (Snoqualmie, WA). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 13-4 record. In their last test, Mount Si went down by Bellevue (Bellevue, WA), 54-53, in a non-league test.
The Bears now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to Roosevelt for a non-league test on Friday, February 2. Bishop Blanchet will encounter a Roughriders squad coming off a 72-28 non-league win over Chief Sealth (Seattle, WA). The Roughriders record now stands at 17-2.
