With the victory, Carencro advances its record to 11-15 on the year. The Bears travel to New Iberia (New Iberia, LA) to meet the Yellowjackets in a 5A District 3 battle on Tuesday, February 4. The Yellowjackets enter the battle with a record of 13-13. New Iberia lost 33-31 in their recent league battle against Acadiana (Lafayette, LA)
The Buccaneers now own a 23-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southside for a 5A District 3 battle on Tuesday, February 4. Barbe will meet a Sharks squad coming off a 63-36 non-league win over Ferriday (Ferriday, LA). The Sharks record now stands at 18-14.
