Louisiana High School Basketball - Catholic of Pointe Coupee sneaks past Berchmans Academy
January 31, 2025: Grand Coteau, LA 70541 The Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets (New Roads, LA) basketball edged the host Berchmans Academy Saints (Grand Coteau, LA), 37-36 in Friday's league bout.
The Hornets now possess a 9-14 record. They play next when they travel to JS Clark Leadership Academy for a Freelance bout on Saturday, February 1.
With the loss, Berchmans Academy falls to 7-11 on the campaign. The Saints host Westminster Academy (Opelousas, LA) to play the Crusaders in a 1A District 5 bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 8-10. Westminster Academy lost 43-32 in their recent league bout against JS Clark Leadership Academy (Opelousas, LA)
