January 31, 2025: Bloomfield, IN 47424 Bloomfield Cardinals (Bloomfield, IN) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting North Central Thunderbirds (Farmersburg, IN), 67-37 in a league match.
With the victory, Bloomfield upgrades its record to 12-7 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Evansville Christian (Evansville, IN) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, February 1. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 4-12. Evansville Christian lost 58-53 in their recent non-league match against Evansville Day (Evansville, IN)
The Thunderbirds now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shakamak for a Southwestern Indiana match on Saturday, February 1. North Central will face a Lakers squad coming off a 52-49 non-league win over South Vermillion (Clinton, IN). The Lakers record now stands at 8-7.
