North Carolina High School Basketball - Wesleyan Christian Academy toppled by Caldwell Academy
January 31, 2025: High Point, NC 27262 Caldwell Academy Eagles (Greensboro, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans (High Point, NC), 74-59 in a league match.
With the victory, Caldwell Academy upgrades its record to 21-8 on the year. The Eagles host Forsyth Country Day (Lewisville, NC) to face the Furies in a NCISAA Piedmont match on Tuesday, February 4. The Furies enter the match with a record of 24-4. Forsyth Country Day won 38-36 in their recent league match against Greensboro Day School (Greensboro, NC)
The Trojans now sport a 16-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westchester Country Day for a NCISAA Piedmont match on Monday, February 3. Wesleyan Christian Academy will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 66-33 league loss to High Point Christian Academy (High Point, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-10.
