January 31, 2025: Milwaukie, OR 97222 Country Christian Cougars (Molalla, OR) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Portland Waldorf (Milwaukie, OR), 74-39 in a league match.
With the victory, Country Christian upgrades its record to 16-6 on the year. The Cougars travel to Umpqua Valley Christian (Roseburg, OR) to face the Monarchs in a non-league match on Saturday, February 1. The Monarchs enter the match with a record of 15-4. Umpqua Valley Christian won 85-38 in their recent league match against Milo Adventist Academy (Days Creek, OR)
The now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Open Door Christian Academy for a 1A Valley 10 match on Tuesday, February 4. Portland Waldorf will face a Huskies squad coming off a 54-33 non-league loss to Eddyville (Eddyville, OR). The Huskies record now stands at 16-6.
