Ohio High School Basketball - Waynesfield-Goshen overwhelms Elgin
January 31, 2025: Waynesfield, OH 45896 The Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting Elgin Comets to 41 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now possess a 4-13 record. They play next when they travel to Jefferson for a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. Waynesfield-Goshen will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 61-35 non-league win over Ayersville (Defiance, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-11.
With the loss, Elgin falls to 4-13 on the campaign. The Comets host Crestline (Crestline, OH) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Saturday, February 1.
