In Friday's league test, the Rockwell Marshals (Eagle Mountain, UT) basketball squad trounced the host Merit Preparatory Academy Knights (Springville, UT), by a final score of 83-47.

Next, the Marshals clash with the Utah Military Academy - Hill Field Thunderbirds (Riverdale, UT) in a 2A Region 16 test, on Tuesday, February 4. Rockwell will attempt to upgrade on its 11-11 season record. The Thunderbirds come into the test with a 9-10 record after their 57-54 league win over Salt Lake Academy (Herriman, UT).

The Knights (13-7) will now prepare for their test against Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams (Lehi, UT). The Marauders come into the 2A Region 16 test with a 2-18 record. In their last test, Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams was overwhelmed by Intermountain Christian (Salt Lake City, UT), 62-48, in a league test.
