In Friday's league test, the Opelousas Catholic Vikings (Opelousas, LA) basketball squad knocked off the host North Central Hurricanes (Lebeau, LA), by a score of 64-56.

Next, the Vikings encounter the Sacred Heart Trojans (Ville Platte, LA) in a 1A District 5 test, on Monday, February 3. Opelousas Catholic will attempt to improve on its 10-10 season record. The Trojans come into the test with a 8-12 record after their 60-44 league win over St. Edmund (Eunice, LA).
