Indiana High School Basketball - Southern Wells succumbs to South Adams

In Friday's league test, the South Adams Starfires (Berne, IN) basketball squad defeated the host Southern Wells Raiders (Poneto, IN), by a score of 62-45.

Next, the Starfires clash with the Whitko Wildcats (South Whitley, IN) in a non-league test, on Saturday, February 1. South Adams will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 4-10 record after their 56-43 non-league loss to Prairie Heights (LaGrange, IN).

The Raiders (0-13) will now prepare for their test against Lakeland Christian Academy (Winona Lake, IN). The Cougars come into the non-league test with a 2-10 record. In their last test, Lakeland Christian Academy overcame Trinity Greenlawn (South Bend, IN), 54-44, in a league test.
