January 31, 2025: Minneapolis, MN 55403 The Blake Bears (Minneapolis, MN) basketball edged the visiting Rockford Rockets (Rockford, MN), 74-73 in Friday's league bout.
The Bears now possess a 9-10 record. They play next when they travel to Coon Rapids for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 1. Blake will play a Cardinals team coming off a 74-53 non-league loss to Andover (Andover, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-14.
With the loss, Rockford falls to 2-19 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Litchfield (Litchfield, MN) to play the Dragons in a non-league bout on Sunday, February 2. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 2-17. Litchfield lost 81-46 in their recent non-league bout against Dassel-Cokato (Cokato, MN)
