The Edgewood Mustangs (Ellettsville, IN) basketball edged the visiting Brown County Eagles (Nashville, IN), 36-31 in Friday's league bout.

The Mustangs now possess a 12-10 record. They play next when they travel to Northview for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 4. Edgewood will play a Knights team coming off a 58-17 non-league win over Clay City (Clay City, IN). The Knights record now stands at 17-6.

With the loss, Brown County falls to 1-16 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Brownstown Central (Brownstown, IN) to play the Braves in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 18-5. Brownstown Central won 53-42 in their recent league bout against North Harrison (Ramsey, IN)
