Florida High School Basketball - Central overwhelms Chipley

The Central Jaguars basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Chipley Tigers to 38 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Jaguars now possess a 14-10 record. They play next when they travel to Northview for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. Central will play a Chiefs team coming off a 68-30 non-league loss to Pensacola Christian Academy (Pensacola, FL). The Chiefs record now stands at 2-15.

With the loss, Chipley falls to 14-7 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Poplar Springs (Graceville, FL) to play the Atomics in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. The Atomics go into the game with a record of 5-17. Poplar Springs won 33-16 in their recent non-league game against St. John Paul II (Tallahassee, FL)
