Oklahoma High School Basketball - Fort Cobb-Broxton can't hold off Hobart
January 31, 2025: Fort Cobb, OK 73038 Hobart Bearcats (Hobart, OK) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Fort Cobb-Broxton Mustangs (Fort Cobb, OK), 39-33 in a league match.
With the victory, Hobart advances its record to 12-8 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Hinton (Hinton, OK) to face the Comets in a non-league match on Saturday, February 1. The Comets enter the match with a record of 8-11. Hinton lost 70-39 in their recent non-league match against Seiling (Seiling, OK)
The Mustangs now own a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lookeba-Sickles for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. Fort Cobb-Broxton will face a Panthers squad coming off a 53-33 non-league win over Mountain View-Gotebo (Mountain View, OK). The Panthers record now stands at 19-2.
