Louisiana High School Basketball - Iowa victorious over LaGrange
January 31, 2025: Lake Charles, LA 70607 In Friday's league contest, the visiting Iowa Yellowjackets basketball team scored a good 67-47 triumph over the LaGrange Gators.
The Yellowjackets (17-7) will now prepare for their contest against DeRidder (DeRidder, LA). The Dragons go into the 4A District 3 contest with a 0-18 record. In their last contest, DeRidder was topped by Leesville (Leesville, LA), 72-27, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Gators battle the Lafayette Lions (Lafayette, LA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 3. LaGrange will attempt to better on its 9-8 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 12-11 record after their 68-34 league win over Southside (Youngsville, LA).
