Missouri High School Basketball - New Haven can't hold off Liberty
January 31, 2025: New Haven, MO 63068 Liberty Eagles (Lake St. Louis, MO) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host New Haven Shamrocks (New Haven, MO), 35-32 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Liberty advances its record to 7-10 on the year. The Eagles travel to Fort Zumwalt West (O'Fallon, MO) to face the Jaguars in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. The Jaguars enter the match with a record of 11-4. Fort Zumwalt West lost 56-43 in their recent non-league match against Ursuline Academy (St. Louis, MO)
The Shamrocks now own a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. James for a Four Rivers match on Tuesday, February 4. New Haven will face a Tigers squad coming off a 54-40 non-league loss to Helias (Jefferson City, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 14-4.
