Missouri High School Basketball - Mark Twain overwhelms Marion County
January 31, 2025: Philadelphia, MO 63463 The Mark Twain Tigers basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Marion County Mustangs to 34 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now possess a 7-9 record. They play next when they travel to Wright City for a Eastern Missouri game on Monday, February 3. Mark Twain will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 61-47 non-league loss to St. Clair (St. Clair, MO). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-10.
With the loss, Marion County falls to 12-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Knox County (Edina, MO) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Monday, February 3. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 6-12. Knox County won 45-30 in their recent league game against Schuyler County (Lancaster, MO)
