California High School Basketball - Palma defeats University Prep Academy
January 31, 2025: San Jose, CA 95125 The Palma Chieftains (Salinas, CA) basketball were winner over the host University Prep Academy Golden Eagles (San Jose, CA), 50-36 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Chieftains now possess a 15-3 record. They play next when they travel to Pacific Collegiate for a non-league bout on Monday, February 3. Palma will play a Pumas team coming off a 46-34 league loss to King City (King City, CA). The Pumas record now stands at 4-8.
With the loss, University Prep Academy falls to 8-7 on the campaign. The Golden eagles travel to Design Tech (Redwood City, CA) to play the Dragons in a Private School - Bay bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Design Tech won 48-8 in their recent non-league bout against Summit Tahoma (San Jose, CA)
