Arkansas High School Basketball - Timbo trounced by South Side
January 31, 2025: Bee Branch, AR 72013 South Side Hornet (Bee Branch, AR) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Timbo Tigers (Timbo, AR), 59-12 in a non-league match.
With the victory, South Side advances its record to 18-12 on the year. The Hornet host Bigelow (Bigelow, AR) to meet the Panthers in a 2A Region 5 match on Tuesday, February 4. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 16-8. Bigelow won 40-24 in their recent league match against St. Joseph (Conway, AR)
The Tigers now own a 5-22 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Side for a 1A Region 2 match on Tuesday, February 4. Timbo will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 81-52 league win over Rural Special (Fox, AR). The Eagles record now stands at 29-3.
