California High School Basketball - Granada can't hold off Dublin
January 31, 2025: Livermore, CA 94550 Dublin Gaels (Dublin, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA), 42-36 in a league match.
With the victory, Dublin upgrades its record to 12-7 on the year. The Gaels host Liberty (Brentwood, CA) to face the Lions in a non-league match on Saturday, February 1. The Lions enter the match with a record of 16-4. Liberty won 48-12 in their recent league match against Antioch (Antioch, CA)
The Matadors now sport a 2-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Livermore for a match on Friday, February 7. Granada will face a Cowboys squad coming off a 46-17 league win over Monte Vista (Danville, CA). The Cowboys record now stands at 14-9.
