Virginia High School Basketball - Eastern View knocks off King George
January 31, 2025: King George, VA 22485 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Eastern View Cyclones (Culpeper, VA) and the host King George Foxes (King George, VA), observed Eastern View's basketball team overcome King George by a margin of 39-26.
The Cyclones (5-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Culpeper County (Culpeper, VA). The Blue Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 14-0 record. In their last challenge, Culpeper County defeated Courtland (Spotsylvania, VA), 53-16, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Foxes battle the Caroline Cavaliers (Milford, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. King George will attempt to better on its 1-14 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA).
