Virginia High School Basketball - Fleming overwhelms Northside
January 31, 2025: Roanoke, VA 24017 The Fleming Colonels basketball team scored 45 points and limited the visiting Northside Vikings to 12 in the Colonels non-league triumph on Friday.
The Colonels now have a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Lord Botetourt for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. Fleming will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 47-9 non-league win over Staunton River (Moneta, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 12-5.
With the loss, Northside falls to 0-15 on the campaign. The Vikings host Staunton River (Moneta, VA) to confront the Golden Eagles in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. The Golden Eagles go into the game with a record of 2-13. Staunton River lost 47-9 in their recent non-league game against Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA)
